White Bread

Ingredients

  • 1 1/8 cups warm milk (259 milliliters)
  • 5 tbsp unsalted butter, softened (71 grams)
  • 3 cups bread flour, not all purpose flour (360 grams)
  • 1 1/2 tbsp white granulated sugar (19 grams)
  • 1 tsp salt (6 grams)
  • 1 tsp bread machine yeast (3 grams)

Instructions

  1. Put the ingredients in the bread machine in the order listed.
  2. Set the bread machine to the basic white bread setting.
  3. Press start.

Notes

Made for bread machine. Use bread flour specifically, not all-purpose flour.
